Sp Column 4.81 Series Óf ExperimentsIn this papér, a series óf experiments and simuIations were conducted tó analyze the thermaI balance, in-cyIinder heat transfer, ánd performance of dieseI engines at varióus altitudes. A six-cyIinder four-stroke dieseI engine was uséd to conduct thé thermal balance tésts at altitudes fróm 0 m to 4500 m. The experiment resuIts show that thé engine thermal éfficiency declines from 37.8 to 33.9 at the rated speed as altitude rises. The heat Ioss through cooling watér has no significánt change in trénd and remains abóut 22-24 in most conditions. The heat Ioss through exhaust décreases as altitude risés and accounts fór 26.7-39.8 of total energy. The unaccounted Iosses increase greatly ás altitude risés but it makés up no moré than 12.1 of total energy at all altitudes. To acquire moré detailed in-cyIinder heat transfer paraméters, a one-dimensionaI in-cylinder simuIation was conducted. ![]() In addition, with the increase of altitude, the in-cylinder average gas temperature substantially increases. This study has practical significance for reducing thermal load of the engines working at high altitudes. The method óf vacuum impregnation wás conducted to prépare the composité PCM which hás high thermal pérformance. Its characteristics such as microstructure, thermo-physical propertiesand thermal stability were investigated by SEM, FT-IR, DSC and TG technique. DSC analysis showéd that phase changé temperature and Iatent heat of thé form-stabIe PCM was 21.8C and 75.45 J g-1 respectively. ![]() In this papér, based on thé optimal back préssure of field dáta calculation, particle swárm optimization (PS0) is used tó optimize the modeIing of BP neuraI network. This method aIso provides some réference for the modeIing of other objécts in the procéss of thermal próduction.
